CSAC to Hold Innovation Summit
Scheduled Day Before Annual Meeting in Long Beach
CSAC will be holding its inaugural Innovation Summit immediately prior to our Nov. 27-30 Annual Meeting in Long Beach. The Innovation Summit is designed specifically to help county officials learn creative solutions other local governments are using to lower the cost of doing business, grow and sustain economic development, enhance citizen quality of life, and improve infrastructure.
The summit is set for 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the Long Beach Convention Center. A reception will be held immediately after the session. This is one day before the CSAC Annual Meeting, which begins Tuesday.
This is a must-attend event for county elected and appointed officials looking for practical solutions to maintain or enhance services during these challenging times. Come hear from your peers — County Supervisors, Administrative Officers and Chief Information Officers — what solutions they are using to do more with less.
This half-day session will showcase some of the most creative county leaders in the state sharing their innovative solutions for surviving and thriving in a down economy.
We will begin at noon with a lunch and keynote speaker who will
set the tone for the day. After that we will hold several
interactive panel sessions on topics such as shared services,
mobile applications, document management and others. At the end
of the day, we will hold a reception for all participants to
allow speakers and attendees to mingle and talk more about the
presentations.
Thanks to the generous contributions of our sponsors, there is no
cost to attend the Innovation Summit. To RSVP or for more
