The California Health and Human Services Agency (CalHHS) will
convene the 988 Workgroup 6: Funding and Stability, on
Tuesday, September 3 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
This workgroup is one of a series of seven workgroups established
to advise on the development of recommendations for a
comprehensive 988-crisis system. CalHHS will use these
recommendations to draft a five-year implementation plan due
December 2024. Workgroup 6 is charged with providing input on
funding and reimbursement mechanisms, surcharge rate setting, and
revenue disbursement.
