Applications Now Open for Homeless Encampment Funding
Upcoming Webinar: Supportive Housing Service Planning

November 30, 2023

The California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH) has released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for nearly $300 million in grant funding through the Encampment Resolution Funding Program to support local government efforts to clean up encampments and transition those living on the street into safe and stable housing. Eligible applicants include counties, cities, and Continuums of Care (CoCs). Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until June 30, 2024, or until funds are depleted, whichever occurs first. Up to 50 percent of funds awarded will be prioritized for projects that serve people living in encampments on the state right of way. Additional information about the Encampment Resolution Funding Program, including previously awarded projects, can be found on the Cal ICH webpage.
