The California Department of Housing and Community Development
(HCD) has released its
2024-2025 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) calendar,
showing their intent to award more than $4.8 billion of housing
and homelessness resources over the next year.
This NOFA Calendar includes approximately $2 billion in funding
approved as part of Proposition 1 and the Behavioral Health
Infrastructure Bond Act approved by California voters in March
2024. To further the goals of Prop 1, HCD will expand on its
Homekey Program to help support the development of permanent
supportive housing for veterans and individuals at risk of or
experiencing homelessness and with mental health or substance use
