The California Department of Housing and Community Development
has released Amendment 2 of the 2022 Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) program Notice of Funding Availability.
This Amendment modifies the requirements for
economic development applicants to move the contracting
requirements for an economic development consultant from the time
of application to after the execution of a Standard Agreement by
HCD. This change will provide additional flexibility to
applicants interested in economic development financing.
