CSAC would like to share that the Council on Criminal Justice and
Behavioral Health (CCJBH) will host a series on Suicide
Prevention and Substance Use Disorder Recovery Month. The Week 1
Presentation will be presented by the California Department of
Public Health’s (CDPH) Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP).

Webinar Details: This week’s Virtual Lunch and
Learn session will provide an overview on the CDPH Office of
Suicide prevention including their Children and Youth Behavioral
Health Initiative (CYBHI)-funded projects, the Youth Suicide
Prevention Media and Outreach Campaign (Never a Bother) and the
Youth Suicide Reporting and Crisis Response Pilot Program.
Embedded in this discussion will be information on suicide and
self-harm trends in California across a variety of demographic
characteristics.
