The California Department of Housing and Community Development
(HCD) is in the process of updating California’s fair housing
plan, also known as the Analysis of Impediments (AI) to fair
housing choice (background information included below). Part of
the fair housing plan is to provide a Community Needs Assessment
survey. The survey helps HCD identify the states housing,
community development and supportive service’s needs.
Additionally, it helps determine where HCD should spend resource
allocations, and the program activities and supportive services
communities need the most.
The survey will be available through April 1, 2024.
Please note that all information included on this survey will be
kept confidential. Confidentiality is protected by not including
names on any of the forms. Moreover, no specific identifying
information will be kept or shared with other agencies.
