The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and the Office
of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSEPR)
will convene a two-and-a-half day gathering, “Forward Together:
Shaping the Future of Disaster Human Services,” on August
20-22, 2024.
The inaugural event will bring together leaders and experts to
discuss the impact of disasters on human services, explore
innovative approaches, share best practices, and collaborate on
solutions to achieve equity. In person attendance in Washington,
D.C. will be limited, but online public participation will also
be available through zoom.
