The California Department of Housing and Community Development
(HCD) will host a Homekey+ Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA)
webinar on January 22 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
The webinar will outline the Homekey+ program requirements for
communities that wish to pursue Homekey+ grant funding for the
development of Permanent Supportive Housing for veterans and
individuals with mental health or substance use disorder
challenges who are at-risk of or experiencing homelessness. Due
to the high level of interest, HCD is requesting that no more
than two people per organization/jurisdiction register. The
webinar will be recorded and posted on HCD’s Homekey+
website shortly after the webinar is completed.

In response to the wildfires impacting Southern California,
HCD is extending the due date to submit applications for
Gap Financing Projects to April 3, 2025, at 4:00 pm. The
deadline for all other projects under Homekey+ remains as May 30,
2025, at 5:00 pm.
