For those interested, please be advised that the Department of Health Care Services’ Medi-Cal Outreach and Education team are offering live training webinars in December 2024 relating to the Justice-Involved (JI) Reentry Initiative, and specifically, policy and coverage for JI 90-day pre-release services.

The live webinars will be offered on the following dates:

• Embedded providers: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• In-reach providers: Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Importantly, providers must enroll through the Medi-Cal Learning Portal (MLP) and select the session they plan to attend to ensure enrollment:

• Enrollment for embedded providers is available on the Justice-Involved Reentry: Embedded Providers Live Webinar page of the MLP.
• Enrollment for in-reach providers is available on the Justice-Involved Reentry: In-Reach Providers Live Webinar page of the MLP.
