As required by The ACCESS BROADBAND Act, which requires The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to submit an annual report to Congress, the NTIA released The 2023 Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth Annual Report last week. The report highlights federal investments in high-speed internet programs.

Housed within the NITA, is the Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth (OICG), that oversees five broadband initiatives and $48.2 billion. These programs include the BEAD Program, three Digital Equity Act programs (State Digital Equity Planning Grant, Digital Equity Capacity Grant Program, Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program), Connecting Minority Communities Program, the Enabling Middle Mile Broadband Infrastructure (Middle Mile) Program, and the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program.
