The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) has launched the
California Opioid Settlement Technical Assistance Survey for
Financial Reporting. The purpose of this survey is for DHCS to
learn about the accounting and budgeting challenges counties and
cities face when managing and reporting opioid settlement funds.
The survey will be open through April 15, 2025.
DHCS requests that the primary person responsible for submitting
each jurisdiction’s annual expenditure report completes the
survey, as survey responses will help inform DHCS’s technical
assistance regarding the annual expenditure process.
