The California Department of Housing and
Community Development (HCD) Permanent Local
Housing Allocation (PLHA) program team will host
ongoing twice weekly drop-in virtual office hours
sessions during the open application period for
the PLHA
Notice of Funding Availability. Staff will be
available to answer questions and assist with
application completion.
Don’t Leave Money on the Table
PLHA provides funding to local governments in
California for housing-related projects and
programs that assist in addressing the unmet
housing needs of their local communities.
This is the last opportunity to apply for 2019
allocations. Allocations that are unclaimed after
the close of the current NOFA application period
will revert to the Multifamily Housing Program
and will not be available under the PLHA program
in future rounds. Appendix A in the NOFA details
the total funds available to each eligible
locality. If the dollar amount is listed under
the “Funding Amount 2019” column, the funds are
still available.
