Public Comment Opportunity: Draft Data Exchange Framework Roadmap

November 14, 2024

The CalHHS Center for Data Insights and Innovation (CDII) has released the draft Data Exchange Framework (DxF) Roadmap for public comment.

The purpose of this Roadmap is to serve as a guide for the whole state. It describes opportunities for collaboration and collective investment in data exchange efforts to advance whole person care initiatives.  It is intended to reflect the desires and needs of communities, agencies and stakeholders who are advancing health and social service initiatives.  The Roadmap contemplates leveraging efforts across the health and human service ecosystems, including those both inside and outside of government.

CDII is soliciting public comment on this draft DxF Roadmap through 8:00 AM PT on Monday, December 9, 2024. The DxF Comment Template is CDII’s preferred method for the preparation and submission of public comments on the draft DxF Roadmap. Additional instructions for comment are available on the DxF Webpage.

CDII asks that comments delivered in alternative formats meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Specifically, CDII requests that commenters refrain from submitting comments with “tracked-changes” or as a document with in-text comments. The California Department of Rehabilitation has created a Web Accessibility Toolkit to serve as a resource for meeting accessibility guidelines, which is encouraged for those who choose not to use CDII’s Comment Template.
