The California Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force will host a Southern California Regional Meeting at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, CA. The Task Force was established to align federal, state, local, tribal, and private entities around the shared goal of reducing wildfire risk through more resilient landscapes.

Discussions will focus on landscapes and land management issues unique to Southern California. Topics will include cultural burning, utilities & infrastructure, and regional planning & optimization followed by a variety of field tours. The full agenda can be found here.

Registration is required for in-person attendance. Virtual attendance is also available.
