On January 6, 2025, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS)
opened the application window for Providing Access and
Transforming Health (PATH) Capacity and Infrastructure
Transition, Expansion, and Development (CITED) Round 4.
The PATH CITED
initiative provides funding to build the capacity and
infrastructure of on-the-ground partners, including county
agencies, community-based organizations (CBO), hospitals, Tribes,
and others, to successfully participate in Medi-Cal. The deadline
to submit applications for PATH CITED Round 4 funding will be
11:59 p.m. PST on March 7, 2025. Prospective
applicants are also encouraged to review the
CITED Round 4 Guidance Document before applying.
Upcoming PATH CITED Round 4 Webinars
To help provide technical assistance to organizations considering
applying for funding, DHCS will host two webinars following the
opening of the application window:
The first webinar, “How to Make Your Grant Application
Stronger Part 1,” will take place on Thursday,
January 16, 2025, at 10:00 am. This webinar will explain
what applicant reviewers look for when scoring applications,
share tips for writing a strong grant application, and clarify
the funding goals for PATH CITED Round 4. Advance

The second webinar, “How to Make Your Grant Application
Stronger Part 2,” will take place on Monday,
February 3, 2025, at 10:00 am. This webinar will
explain how to use the Funding Request Workbook, clarify DHCS
guidelines and restrictions, and share strategies for creating a
