SAMHSA Seeks Public Comment on Draft Mobile Crisis Teams Toolkit

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has released the 2025 National Guidelines for a Behavioral Health Coordinated System of Crisis Care, providing a framework to improve crisis response nationwide. The guidance is comprised of two finalized documents:

SAMHSA is accepting public comments on the draft toolkit through March 21, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Public comments can be submitted via the form provided on the SAMHSA webpage. SAMHSA is broadly seeking feedback regarding what is helpful and what to change in areas such as clarity, consistency, coverage of key information, comparison with current practices, implementation feasibility, and/or other concerns.
