  • Engage – Provide community members with helpful tools to use when reaching out to members. When requested, give feedback on outreach materials and Medi-Cal member messaging.
  • Provide Consistency – Help to share valuable information, so Medi-Cal members are not confused.

Who are Coverage Ambassadors?

  • Trusted community members who share important information with Medi-Cal members.
  • Members of diverse groups and organizations who talk to Medi-Cal members, including in different languages when possible and necessary.
  • Coverage Ambassador roles: Stay up to date on the latest information and communicate with Medi-Cal members about their health coverage.
