The California State Treasurer’s Office just released the final
segment of an eight-part municipal finance training series for
local elected officials. The module, titled
Becoming a Model Borrower, concludes the
Elect>Ed Debt Issuance and Administration series, aimed at
guiding elected officials through the complexities of municipal
finance and debt issuance.
Elect>Ed modules are produced by the California Debt and
Investment Advisory Commission (CDIAC), which is chaired by State
Treasurer Fiona Ma. The courses are free and can be viewed at any
time through
CDIAC’s Ed Portal.
