Ten Counties Receive Behavioral Health Bridge Housing Funding

This week, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) awarded $132.5 million to ten county behavioral agencies as part of the Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH) Program. These grants are intended to assist counties in providing temporary, safe housing and supports for people with serious behavioral health conditions transition from homelessness into permanent housing. These awards are in addition to the more than $900 million awarded through BHBH to counties in 2022.
