CSAC would like to share an OSPD invitation to attend the next
Virtual Quarterly Meeting on Indigent
Defense for county administrators, data analysts
and other county leaders interested in discussing their indigent
defense systems with others from around the state. The
meeting will be hosted by the OSPD on Wednesday, July
17th from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
This meeting will explore what resources are available for
counties, including
1) technical assistance for county administrators around
contracts, RFP’s and systemic improvements
2) application process to become one of three rural pilot
counties who will receive free assistance from the National
Institute for Criminal Justice Reform and the Center for Justice
Innovation on how to collect indigent defense data in your county
and
3) free training resources for your public defense attorneys.
