$22.71 – $30.78 per hour

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. In this role, you will be involved with tasks related to Building Department accounting and budget management, including fee processing, refunds, service fee processing, payroll, and budget creation. Must be comfortable meeting with the public. Knowledge and experience with accounting and analysis and budget management is desirable. However, in house training will be provided. Under general direction, handles general clerical accounting/auditing duties; establishes, reconciles, and maintains a variety of bookkeeping records.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Accounting Technician I High school diploma or equivalent; three (3) years of general clerical or accounting experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting Technician II High school diploma or equivalent; four (4) years of general bookkeeping or accounting experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
