Salary:
$59,592.00 – $88,254.40 Annually
Under supervision or direction, engages in a variety of analytical assignments and special administrative duties to support functions, operations, and services of the Administrative Office and/or an assigned division. May extend professional-level support to other County departments in internal support areas such as budget, procurement, personnel, and contract development. Responsibilities include researching, compiling data, and analyzing programmatic practices and procedures. Performs any related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST I
Education and Experience:
Graduation from a four year college or university with a major in Public Administration, Accounting, Business Administration, Political Science, Communications, Education, English or a closely related field.
Master’s in Public Administration preferred.
Education leading to a CPA may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Completion of an intern program in local government, OR work experience in city or county government.
Additional directly related education and/or experience may be substituted.
ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST II
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business administration, human resources management, accounting, public administration, or a closely related field.
AND
Two (2) years of full-time professional-level experience in administrative operations, budgetary, or similar analysis at a level equivalent to the County’s class of Administrative Analyst I.
Additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted.
ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST, SENIOR
Education and Experience:
Two (2) years of full-time experience performing a variety of
administrative and fiscal analysis work comparable to that of an
Administrative Analyst II with the County of Lake.
Graduation from a four year college or university with a major in
Public Administration, Accounting, Business Administration,
Political Science, Communications, Education, English, or a
closely related field. Master’s in Public Administration
preferred.
Education leading to a CPA may be substituted for a Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting.
Additional directly related experience and/or education may be
substituted.
