Description:

Under direction from the Director of Compliance, the Air Quality Compliance Manager manages the workload and resources of their team and is responsible for accomplishing established District and departmental goals and objectives. The incumbent is also responsible for providing expert professional assistance to Executive staff and to lead the continuous promotion and development of the STAR (Service, Teamwork, Attitude & Respect) work culture throughout the District. The Air Quality Compliance Manager is an unclassified position in which the incumbent serves at the discretion of the Executive Director/APCO.

Qualifications:

The candidate should actively and enthusiastically embrace and promote the District’s STAR work culture, develop effective working relationships with other District employees, strive to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, and serve as an effective role model for others. The candidate should also have strong skills in leadership and the ability to supervise, train, motivate, and facilitate the professional development of staff
