$6,243 – $7,599

Description:

Under direction plan, organize, direct, and control the activities, services, and operations of the County Airport and the administration of airport owned and leased properties.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s Degree in business or public administration, airport management, or a related field, and three (3) years of airport operations and administration experience which included a minimum of one year of supervisory level responsibility; OR, completion of college coursework the equivalent of an Associate’s Degree in business or public administration, airport management, or related field, and five (5) years airport operations and administration experience which included a minimum of two years of supervisory experience; OR, seven (7) years of airport operations and administration experience that included three years at a supervisory or management level. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Drivers License. Must possess certifications for Safety and Operations Specialist and Airport Security Coordinator within twelve (12) months of hire. Incumbents of this class must pass security and background checks.
