F/T: $46,564 – $56,846/yr.; Temporary: $22.39 – $27.33/hr.

For full-time drivers, up to $5000 new hire bonus; 2.5% of base pay for Class B Driver’s License, excellent benefits, and relocation allowance (if eligible)! For Temporary Bus Drivers, up to $3000 new hire bonus! Located in the scenic Sierra foothills, the Nevada County (CA) Transit Division seeks qualified bus drivers for both full-time and temporary positions. We seek safety conscious individuals who are excited to provide vital transportation services to our county residents, along with a positive and professional outlook.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements (F/T) include completion of twelfth grade or receipt of G.E.D. and a minimum of six months of driving experience in one or more of the following: public transit, a school district transit operation, or driving a commercial vehicle; in addition, possession of the following documents from the State of California: VTT Certificate within three months of hire, Passenger Endorsement Certificate, Class A or B Vehicle Operator’s License, and Department of Motor Vehicles Medical Certificate/DL-51. Passenger transit driving experience preferred.
