$84,091.14 – $155,298.12 Annually, plus Benefits

Description:

The Position Under general direction, this position will support the Division in its execution of the legislative program and grant administration, which support the work in those areas across all County agencies and departments. Activities will include data collection and analysis on legislative and grant topics, compile reports from Division databases, produce written reports that will be disseminated to the Board of Supervisors, CEO and Agency leadership, and the development of materials to enhance collaboration across County agencies and departments in legislative and grant efforts. This position requires extensive communication with County agencies and departments, government entities and stakeholders necessitating strong written and verbal communication skills; and developing and maintaining centralized grant resources and reporting for the County. This position will require a high level of data analysis and project management skills, as well as the ability to help departments and agencies navigate grant requirements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: Any combination of education, training, and experience that has led to the acquisition of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities can be obtained by the following: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Policy or a related field AND Management Analyst I: Considerable experience working in or with program or project management areas dedicated to a specific purpose, including but not limited to directly managing funds from federal, state or local governments or as a subrecipient of such funds managing direct programs. Management Analyst II: Extensive experience working in or with program or project management areas dedicated to a specific purpose, including but not limited to directly managing funds from federal, state or local governments or as a subrecipient of such funds managing direct programs. Additional related experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
