Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks a Chief Fiscal/Administrative Officer to support its Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA). This is a senior executive position that will plan, organize and supervise the Administrative functions of HHSA, and support the HHSA Director in agency-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

This position is crafted for individuals who have a Bachelor’s degree with major course work in business, accounting, or a related field, plus three years of administrative and fiscal management experience at the level of an Administrative Services Officer with the County of Nevada. Alternately, candidates who possess a Bachelor’s degree and ten years of responsible experience in fiscal and administrative management at a level comparable to Administrative Services Officer with the County of Nevada will also qualify. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience with grants, is a collaborative leader and excellent communicator, has a track record of successful project management, and wants to have a positive impact in the community.
