You bring fresh ideas, are expert at building connections with diverse stakeholders, and can navigate the complexities of managing staff, budgets, and long-term planning. You will help drive the department’s mission while supporting vital community resources like a senior center, swim complex, and youth services programs.

Qualifications:

A typical way to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position would be to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Recreation Management, or a related field and at least five years of progressively responsible experience, including supervisory roles. Experience with social services, homelessness programs, and grant writing is highly desirable.
