The District is currently conducting a recruitment for an Air Quality Compliance Manager to fill a vacancy in the Compliance Department in the Modesto office. Under direction from the Director of Compliance, the Air Quality Compliance Manager manages the workload and resources of their team and is responsible for accomplishing established District and departmental goals and objectives. The incumbent is also responsible for providing expert professional assistance to Executive staff and to lead the continuous promotion and development of the STAR (Service, Teamwork, Attitude & Respect) work culture throughout the District. The Air Quality Compliance Manager is an unclassified position in which the incumbent serves at the discretion of the Executive Director/APCO.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university with major coursework in chemistry, physics, engineering, environmental science, or a related scientific discipline, and four years of applicable environmental and/or air quality experience, two years of which the lead level or above is preferred.
