Description:

The Superior Court of California, County of San Mateo, is currently seeking an exceptional leader to join their team as Court Executive Officer. The Court Executive Officer is an executive-level position appointed by and serving at the discretion of the judges and under the direction of the Presiding Judge. In conjunction with the judicial leadership, this position is responsible for providing strategic direction to the Court and has overall management authority over the non-judicial components of the court system. The CEO is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all of the administrative and operational aspects of the Court. This is a highly visible role, in which the CEO provides leadership in all court-related issues of interest to the community through partnership and collaboration with county departments and other justice agencies, community organizations, business leaders, and citizens.

Qualifications:

A typical way to qualify is at least two years of experience (five years preferred) managing workers’ compensation claims including evaluation of injuries, coordination of benefits, placement of employees in alternate employment, and fraud management.
