I – $47.16 – $57.32, II – $51.88 – $63.06, III – $57.04 – 69.33

Description:

The Deputy County Counse I – III performs professional legal work within the County Counsel’s office, applying and interpreting the applicable laws for the County’s various departments and subdivisions. This position may research and represent the County in assigned legal proceedings and transactions.

Qualifications:

I – Active membership in the State Bar of California II – Three (3) years experience in practice of civil law involving (a) civil litigation or (b) at least three (3) years of work as a Deputy County Counsel, or Assistant City Attorney or in other public law practice III – Three (3) years of experience in the practice of civil law comparable to that of a Deputy County Counsel II with the County of Amador.
