Salary:

$13,294 – $16,968 APPROXIMATE MONTHLY / $76.70 – $97.89 APPROXIMATE HOURLY

Description:

In addition to the Mental Health standards, the ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in the Social Services System of Care including but not limited to: Child Welfare, Adult Protective Services, In Home Support Services, Public Authority and Public Guardian. Will have strong leadership qualities that motivate, innovate, and inspire a team through respect, adaptability, and collaboration. Will be a flexible leader able to adjust while being open to new ideas with the goal of moving the branch forward. A strong commitment to high ethical standards that lead to the administration of high-quality services which promote inclusion and equality and are aligned with state mandates, guidelines, and internal and external policies and procedures. Strong communication skills that support or create strong relationships with community providers and state liaisons and progressive experience successfully managing or implementing complex programs within the behavioral health and social services fields.

Qualifications:

A Local Mental Health Director must have the appropriate experience pursuant to California regulations, Title 9, Rehabilitative and Development Services, Division 1, Chapter 3, Article 8, Professional and Technical Standards. A valid California driver’s license may also be required.
