$98,404.75 – $119,610 annually prorated salary and benefits

Description:

The County of Yolo Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is recruiting to fill one (1) part-time (20 hours per week) At-Will Physician to support Children’s Medical Services (CMS) housed within the Child, Youth & Family branch. This position serves as the Medical Consultant for the county’s California Children’s Services (CCS) program with the following responsibilities: determining medical eligibility for CCS; providing consultation to nurses for case management and care coordination; and providing consultation to the physical and occupational therapists at the Medical Therapy Unit (MTU) at Greengate School. This position works in close collaboration with the county CCS team, performs limited liaison work including answering occasional calls from community pediatricians, and participates in regular meetings with regional and state CCS medical consultants.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from Medical School with an M.D. Degree. One year of graduate work in a recognized school of Public Health with a Master’s Degree in Public Health is preferred but not required. Experience: Two (2) years of responsible experience as a Physician.
