$135,786 to $165,095

Description:

The City is seeking an experienced Public Works professional with excellent communications skills and the ability to strategically plan and organize a dynamic workplan for a multifaceted department. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of successfully managing projects and getting them across the finish line in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to lead a high performing Public Works team, such as five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in the administration and supervision of municipal Public Works and engineering projects. A Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university with a Major in Civil Engineering or related field preferred. A Master’s degree is highly desirable. Registration as a Professional and Civil Engineer in California is highly desirable.
