Description:

The Department of Internal Services is offering a rewarding and challenging career opportunity to a motivated professional interested in the position of Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager classification, reporting to the Director of Internal Services/Chief Information Officer, manages the activities of the Purchasing Division. The incumbent is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, directing, and evaluating divisional goals, programs, policies, and procedures. This is accomplished through consultation with the Director of Internal Services/Chief Information Officer, County Administrative Office, staff of County departments, and by directing subordinate staff responsible for carrying out activities essential to the day-to-day operations of the division.
