Description:

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Revenue Services division of the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office. This position is responsible for managing debt collection for the Courts, managing the County’s Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), a Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID), and recovering delinquent accounts on behalf of the County. Under the direction of the Treasurer-Tax Collector and Assistant Treasurer-Tax Collector, the position will be responsible for developing and implementing division goals, establishing procedures for accounting and financial management systems, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This position oversees a team of professionals and is responsible for assigning Revenue Services projects and programs, managing financial systems, and preparing detailed financial reports.

Qualifications:

Experience and Training Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in accounts receivable or revenue billing with responsibilities for collecting delinquent accounts, including two years of supervisory responsibility. Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field. Required License or Certificate: May need to possess a valid driver’s license as required by the position. Proof of adequate vehicle insurance and medical clearance may also be required.
