Description:

The City of Pasadena seeks a Senior Planner in the Community Planning Section to play a vital role in new policy efforts to revise General Plan Elements and components of the City’s land use policy framework, update and project manage Master Plans, assist with Zoning Code Amendments, analyze legislation and policies, advise on planning and development issues, and supervise, assist, and mentor staff.

Qualifications:

To succeed in the position, an individual must be able to solve complex issues, ensuring that every facet of a project aligns with the City’s established procedures and local and State regulations. Someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, be nimble and pivot when needed, identify and implement innovative solutions, develop and present sound and responsive recommendations, lead and inspire a team, and successfully manage projects is desirable.
