Placer County is currently seeking applications for Senior Staff Services Analyst to fill one vacancy in the HHS-Adult System of Care. This position is located in Auburn and will report to the Staff Services Manager. The Senior Staff Services Analyst will be responsible for the supervision of the Data Analytics team and program. Duties and tasks will include supervision and mentorship of five (5) Staff Services Analysts, collecting, processing, and analyzing complex datasets to uncover valuable insights that drive decisions. They will design and implement data models, create visualizations, and produce reports that clearly communicate trends and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role involves collaborating with various teams to identify data needs, troubleshoot data issues, and optimize processes for efficiency. Additionally, the Senior Staff Services Analyst will contribute to the development of best practices for data analysis and reporting across ASOC.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a collaborative spirit, leadership experience, will be highly analytical and have a foundation in visualization tools. They will be able to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple staff projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible work experience conducting detailed analysis requiring the preparation and submission of findings with recommendations, including one year at the Journey level. Training: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public or business administration, government, political or social science or a related field.
