Description:

The Department of Public Works is seeking a dynamic individual to fill a senior level engineering position (Engineer V) in the Water Resources Division. The successful candidate will work directly with the Water Resources Manager on current and future flood control and water supply efforts.

Qualifications:

Experience:  Two years of experience as either a Registered Civil Engineer or Traffic Engineer in an organization performing diversified public works activities. Education:  Graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. AND License & Certificates:  (1) Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer or Traffic Engineer as issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors; (2) Possession of a valid California driver’s license.
