Description:

Napa County is currently recruiting one Staff Services Analyst I vacancy within the County Executive Office. The list established by this recruitment may be used to fill current and future Full Time, Part Time, Limited Term, and Extra Help positions as they occur over the next 12 months.

The Staff Services Analyst I is expected to perform various tasks, which may include: developing and monitoring CEO budgets, department time keeping; supporting the management analysts in the budget development process; providing support to Emergency Services; website updates for CEO public-facing page; departmental Human Resources support; and processing travel reimbursements.

Qualifications:

Experience:
No related experience is required.

Education:
Equivalent to graduation from college with major course work in business administration, public administration, systems analysis, accounting, or related field. (Responsible supervisory or higher level experience performing a variety of difficult analytical work, which includes the independent research, analysis, and preparation of reports, in any of the following areas: administrative, management, personnel, fiscal, budgetary, or data processing may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)

License or Certificate:
Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.

3. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will have their supplemental responses scored by subject matter experts the week of August 5, 2019. The most qualified applicants from the scoring of the supplemental questions will be invited for an Oral Panel Interview.

4. Oral Panel Interviews are tentatively scheduled to take place the week of August 19, 2019. Only the most qualified candidates from the interview process will be placed on the eligibility list and may be considered to fill positions for up to one year.
