As a division within the integrated Calaveras Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA), the Behavioral Health Division is dedicated to empowering individuals, fostering strong partnerships, and helping to build strong communities. The Supervising Clinician plays a pivotal role in this mission by leading, training, and supervising clinical staff in delivering mental health services, promoting an any door approach to health, and fostering collaboration within HHSA. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in supervising staff, overseeing clinical programs, ensuring adherence to standards, all while upholding HHSA’s mission of transforming lives through dedication, collaboration, and innovation.

Qualifications:

Masters or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university. Four years of professional experience as a professional providing public behavioral health services, preferably in a public setting as a Case Manage, Clinician, Social worker, or related Classification.. Leadership experience required. Licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or related California licensure is required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
