Brown v. Plata (13-198):
CSAC has filed an amicus brief in the United States Supreme Court in support of the State’s jurisdictional statement, which seeks review of a three judge court order that would require the release of State prisoners to meet a population cap in the State prisons by December 31, 2013. The brief was drafted by County Counsels’ Association Executive Director Jennifer Henning.
