CalCannabis Scoping Report
The Scoping Report summarizes the comments and questions raised during the public scoping period for the preparation of a program environmental impact report (PEIR) by the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for the Medical Cannabis Cultivation Program (MCCP, Program, or Proposed Program).
The scoping period during which interested parties were invited to comment on the environmental issues and concerns regarding the Program began on September 1, 2016, and ended on September 30, 2016.
This Scoping Report includes:
- A summary of the public scoping process,
- A summary of key issues identified during the scoping period, and
- A description of future steps to be taken in the rulemaking and environmental review process.
