When planning your arrival for this year’s CSAC Annual Meeting, please remember that the annual CSAC Innovation Summit will take place Tuesday morning, immediately before the Opening General Session.

The CSAC conference is set for Tuesday, Nov. 29, through Friday, Dec. 2, in Palm Springs, Riverside County. The Innovation Summit will run from 830 – 11:30 am.  The focus of this year’s summit is “Changing Lives, Reforming Offenders and Preventing Recidivism.”

California has been leading the country in criminal justice reforms. On the ground, it is the work of law enforcement agencies, probation departments, and program partners that have worked to change the lives of offenders so they do not recidivate, but more importantly go on to become successful, productive members of their communities. Success requires creating a system of policies and practices based on what has been proven to work.

CSAC’s 5^th Annual Innovation Summit will discuss evidence-based practices that probation departments are using to be successful with their offender populations, inspirational stories from former offenders who have turned their lives around, and what they needed to become productive members of society.
