CSAC Fills Key Leadership Positions for 2016
Supervisors Named to Lead Association Policy Committees
The CSAC Executive Committee has appointed county supervisors to
a number of key positions that play integral roles in developing
and implementing Association policy. Positions filled this week
are CSAC treasurer, policy committee chairs and vice chairs, as
well as the NACo Board of Directors and NACo Western Interstate
Region board seats.
The following county supervisors will serve as chairs and vice
chairs for CSAC’s five policy committees in 2016:
Administration of Justice – Chair: John Viegas, Glenn County; Vice Chair: Virginia Bass, Humboldt County.
Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources – Chair: Diane Dillon, Napa County; Vice Chair: Pam Giacomini, Shasta County.
Government Finance and Administration – Chair: Henry Perea, Fresno County; Vice Chair: Erin Hannigan, Solano County.
Health and Human Services – Chair: Ken Yeager, Santa Clara County; Vice Chair: Hub Walsh, Merced County.
Housing, Land use and Transportation – Chair: David Rabbitt, Sonoma County; Vice Chair: Bob Williams, Tehama County.
The Executive Committee also approved the following officer recommendations:
CSAC Treasurer – Trinity County Supervisor Judy Morris re-appointed.
NACo Board of Directors – Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson (re-appointed) and CSAC 1st Vice President//San Diego County Supervisor Dave Roberts (appointed).
NACo Western Interstate Region (WIR) Board of Directors – Del Norte County Supervisor David Finigan was reappointed. Mariposa Supervisor Kevin Cann will continue to serve on the WIR Board as the appointment of the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC).
