CSAC Institute – through a grant from the California Statewide Communities Development Authority – provides a limited number of $5,000 scholarships towards the CSAC Institute/CSU Northridge Online MPA Degree Program.  The scholarships are intended for mid-career county professionals or elected officials interested in advancing their professional development.

Applications are due by March 31 for the fall MPA cohort.

REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS

• Applicants must be a full-time county employee or elected official in a California county
• Employees must have at least five years experience in a supervisor or manager role
• Applicant must not be eligible for tuition reimbursement from their county or other sources (such as a military scholarship)
• Successful applicants are chosen pending their admission to the MPA program
• Scholarships are paid directly to the University
• Scholarship must be repaid to CSAC Institute should the applicant not complete the program
