CSAC Leadership Symposium Deadline Extended
Intensive, Three-Day Seminar is Unique and Unparalleled Learning Exerpience
At the request of several County Supervisors, we have extended
the application deadline for the CSAC Institute
2014 Executive Leadership Symposium to Wednesday, November 27.
The Symposium is limited to 35 Supervisors and 20 County
Administrative Officers. This three-day intensive,
residential seminar is a unique and unparalleled learning
experience..
The 2014 Symposium features John M. Bryson and Barbara C. Crosby,
co-authors of the acclaimed book Leadership for the Common Good:
Tackling Public Problems in a Shared-Power World and professors
at the Hubert Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of
Minnesota. Barbara and John bring a practical approach to
integrative leadership, collaboration and creating public value
for your constituents.
The Symposium is Thursday, February 27 (1:00 PM) to Saturday, March 1, 2014 (1:00 PM) in San Jose. Space is very limited. Attached please find information and the registration form. This is an extremely cost-effective education opportunity. Participants are responsible only for their lodging and meal package and a small registration fee. Costs for instruction and materials are underwritten by foundations and sponsors dedicated to enhancing county governance in California.
