CSAC Seeks County Best Practices Through Annual Challenge Awards
While CSAC delayed the Call for Entries for the 2020 CSAC Challenge Awards due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe it’s important to showcase the multitude of best practices California’s 58 Counties have created to serve their residents – both before and during the current crisis. In that light, we have opened the CSAC Challenge Awards Call for Entries.
These unique awards recognize the innovative and creative spirit of California county governments as they find new, effective and cost-saving ways to provide programs and services to their citizens. This is a wonderful opportunity to spotlight your county’s best practices and the staff behind them.
Our entry process will be completely online this year, making it easier and quicker to enter. This will especially help county staff who are working remotely. All you have to do is fill out the online entry form and attach a brief summary outlining your program. No more postage, no more copies, no more bulky mailings.
We’ve also added a new entry category this year – Disaster/Emergency Response & Management – to reflect how our counties have stepped up to serve their residents during the number of crises that have hit our state in the past few years.
You can learn more about how to enter here.
Deadline for all online entries is September 11, 2020
