Los Angeles County is seeking Supreme Court review of a Court of Appeal decision concluding that several aspects of a stormwater sewer permit are not reimbursable mandates because they are intended to implement the federal Clean Water Act’s general requirement to reduce water pollutants to the maximum extent practicable.  CSAC has filed a letter in support of the Petition for Review, which was drafted by Christopher Smith at Morris Polish & Purdy in Los Angeles.
